• 1997 – Award of Rector of University of Silesia for scientific achievements, II degree.
• 2003 – Award of Rector University of Silesia for scientific achievements, III degree.
• 2010 – Award of Minister of Science and Higher Education for the Habilitation: The Effect of European Human Rights Convention on the Legal System of the United Kingdom.
• 2015 – Award of Rector of University of Zielona Gora for scientific achievements, I degree.

• 2022 – Professor Jerzy Trzcieniecki Award for the Eminent Contribution in Science and Practice granted by the Resolution of Senate of Katowice Business University, Katowice, September 22nd, 2022.
• 2023 – Medal "Vivat Academia" of the Academy of Renewable Technologies and Law in Lutsk, Ukraine, awarded by the resolution of the Scientific Council and the decision of the Rector, October 6, 2023.
